Anyone using the new iPhone SE for music production?
Is this a viable device to run apps? I'm currently using an iPad mini 2 which is getting underpowered for my use. I want to upgrade but I also need a new phone so wondering if the new SE will work. I'm mostly using Drambo and AUM a few effects. The screen size and lack of audio jack are obvious downsides and maybe battery life but for a hobbyist that plays around for about an hour a night could this work?

I use an iPhone 5S with similar physical specs but it froze with IOS 12. The trick is to create
AUM project on an iPad and Airdrop them to the iPhone so you don't have to fight the damn UI issues. Just adjust volumes. Using the Apple CCK adapter with a power port you can also use a power source for extra time or a battery pack. I velcro'ed the iPhone and the battery pack to the guitar and can walk around for 2+ hours with headphones to play on a hike or sitting outside in the garden quietly.
I have the new SE. It is much better than my iPad pro 9.7" for power.
Like McD said, the trick is to make your projects on iPad and then open them on the phone. Screen size isn't that bad for Drambo.
Thanks for the feedback
