  • Will this be a separate app from the phone version?

  • @Seangarland same/universal app.

@mgmg4871 Nice screenshots! I've not tried that IAA apps. On that first screenshot you've got that problem I was talking about where the '1' chord gets replaced by something else :/ Seriously gonna have to work out whats going on there.

  • Whoaaa, you can add Echo Pad as Midi?? As in the effects app? How did you do that Morris... and what does it do?!

  • edited March 2014

Lol. I know Echo Pad can be controlled via virtual midi, but I have no idea what I'm doing. Just experimenting. To do this just tap add instrument and midi. Echo Pad shows up. So far I'm just getting some weird distortion. Maybe Chris can chime in on this before I blowup my ipad. Lol.

  • Kinda weird seeing JamMaestro ask about Jam Maestro.

  • @cheesesteak-
    Ha my thoughts exactly!

  • That's the sign of a genius. He has so much stuff in this app, he can't even keep up with it. Lol.

  • Wow, looks impressive, but I'm trying wrap my head around exactly what this is and what it does. I see drums! I see effects!

  • It's a Tab Sequencer, with several guitars, bass and lead. Drums, with many different kits. Really good sounds, with internal effects, and IAA for synths and effect apps. Very intuitive way of laying down chords and solos. A good way to learn theory also. It will be released with a unbelievably low price.

Thanks! I see the iPhone app already. Trying to get better at theory after many years of noodling, so i will keep an eye on it.

  • @cheesesteak hahaha. With IAA host ability there is probably no end to apps I haven't tried with it.

@StormJH1 Like Guitar Pro but simpler to use and designed for playing/composing as well as tabbing. A way of writing guitar based music on a device rather than electronic based music.

It took a little while for me to stop laughing, after you pointed that out.

I saw it, a bit like a teacher pupil relationship, where the teacher says, tell me little Johnny, what's this you've made and how does it work. ( I'm surrounded by teachers, wife, daughter, extended family ) @mgmg4871 thanks for sharing the pic's.

@JamMaestro great update thanks for making the app universal, I've bought a few of the IAP's and I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy them twice.

  • @Multitouch yeah that was the main reason I made it universal. However since finishing the iPad version and finding the file size was over 100mb (which is the over-the-air/3G download limit, at which point people have to be on wifi), my thoughts have changed a bit. One reason I had IAP was to stay under that size (as they downloaded from apples servers when you bought them), but since theres nothing I can do about that anymore I've decided to raise the price of the app and include all soundpacks in the full version. Hopefully this will work out better for everyone. Just from my own experience using apps like ThumbJam, where there is a whole array of instruments but not necessarily ones I would explicitly buy as an IAP individually, I really I get really good value of money from ThumbJam. I want people to feel the same about my app. So if you already have the full version, you'll get access to all the soundpacks in the next update.
