Evangeline / Satie In Wyoming
If Satie wore spurs.

Nice one. I can't imagine the "Velvet Gentleman" with spurs. Satin chaps maybe but still wearing velvetine slippers and no accessories. I guess you're alluding to a hint of Copland and I can hear that in the chords and the harmonic motion.
Nice playing 👌
Thanks @McD. Yes, you hear correctly. And thank you @Gavinski.
That's real purdy.
Like this one a lot. The first sixteen chords are beautifully sparse.😉
A good 'un.
Thankee @lukesleepwalker
@hypnopad. I thought about sending you those chords, but no bpm. And thanks @kinkujin.
Very pretty piece. Gives a calm but confident feeling of relaxed possibilities. But it ends too soon!
Nice 🤗 ! And with sufficient reverb (which one?)
Is it the Ravenscroft_Piano?
Thanks for the continued listening @scadet. much appreciated.
@satie, yes, just the preset classic reverb on Ravenscroft.
@Ass_Flaps_9000, well, thank you very much. I am honored.
This piece nearly slipped by, glad I caught it. Beautiful chords & melody @LinearLineman! Perhaps my favorite of yours so far ... although many more to come methinks.
Pretty awesome, Mr. Lineman!
Your massive musical productivity never ceases to amaze me!
However, Evangeline is a relatively rare name in these parts. Whenever I see it, I’m reminded of a relative unknown hit by a pop artist by the name of Matthew Sweet. It has a rather infectious melody you might perhaps enjoy:
Many thanks, @pbelgium. I hope you’re right about my musical future😉.
Nice song @SNystrom. And thank you for the praise.
Beautiful Theme my friend! 🎶 👍
😊
Thanks so much @chandroji! So glad to hear from you. I hope you’re feeling better and your neck is okay. Lots of well wishes toward you. Great photo, as always.
That is a thing of beauty indeed, @LinearLineman - quite exquisitely played as well. I don’t know how you come up with so many great pieces of music but I’m glad you do, even for my sake as a mere listener.
Thanks @qryss. I don’t know either how the music happens. It is all unprepared, and usually, as I am playing, it doesn’t sound like anything particularly good is happening. It’s pretty much just faith, will and risk.
Very nice LinearLineman. It’s the first time I’ve heard your music. Well done.
Thank you for listening @cyberheater. Always liked your handle😉.
