Nah just commemorating
Never got to see The Clash (Joe went AWOL on the tour I was expecting to see them on), but I did get to see The Mescaleros in 1999.
Man had a great presence while being down to earth.
When I think of the Clash I think of my time in London in 1979.
They were an integral part of the soundtrack of that zeitgeist.
It wasnt until 1982 that I finally got to see them live in Adelaide and it remains one of the best of the many many concerts Ive seen..
