Nice work. And thanks for bringing "clyp" to my attention. I grabbed "mcd" for a handle. I wonder if they will "over-subscribe" handles like some sites do. Probably. Not like it matters for my efforts. Over-loading names beats forcing people to use names like "mcd-1099-XQ".

    Wooow. Epic.

    Where do you sequence all?

Thx! I sequenced the beat in Gadget 2 then used Audiobus and Koala EFx to add the stuttering, cutting, and filtering fx.

  • What connectivity does sample Toy have?

It's an IAA so it runs in AUM and should work in Audiobus as well you can add effects and record output etc.

  • Sampletoy is pretty fun. the main melody of the track is just my voice playing some random chords with the built-in fx. You can resample and export what you play on the grid.

    That's a banger
    Impressed :open_mouth:

I love it when you can identify the sound source. Like... it doesn't sound gadgety

This is a track I made entirely in Korg Gadget 2, vocals were imported in, I know Gadget doesn’t work for everyone, but if you dig in, it’s a great app and very stable!!

    Audacious polytonality!

Born out of a collab with @LinearLineman.
Collaborating is fun! I can highly recommend getting in touch with like-minded musicians 😊
All done in Gadget. And no, I don't own Module, too expensive for my taste 😅

  • It's stable depending on your hardware and if you're avoiding multiple instances of Lisbon and Lexington (i think that's the ARP one)

  • Just heard this now. Love it!

    Nice :)

Sometimes I feel it's easier to keep focus by only using one Gadget and this is a prime example, well done!

  • @rs2000, just listened again. You did a masterful job on this one. You have a lot more letters of the alphabet from me. Do another, please!

That’s quite an epic piece. You guys should do more together.

    Great example.
Need to try that myself one day. Lexington or Montpellier would be good for this too I think.
