Is $46.99 Canadian sale price for Cubasis 3 / can I buy thru US iTunes?
I'm Canadian and I'm confused. The good is that Costco Canada has a sale on iTunes gift cards and the confusing part is that Cubasis 3 is $46.99 on the Canadian iTunes website. Is that the Canadian sale price for Cubasis 3?
Is there a way to make all my purchases through the US iTunes portal, as the prices are always better even taking currency conversation into account.

Yes that is sale price, it is normally $50 USD
That’s the deal for us Canuckians unfortunately. I wouldn’t try mixing AppStore locations as it might get you in a mess in the long run. Just try to ignore the US prices lol.
Some time ago I did switch to a random US billing address and iTunes did let me, and my prices were lower, but it seems to have reset itself recently, and it would not let me switch again.
I’m sure there’s workarounds but I am paranoid about my Apple account ever getting locked or something daft. There’s too much money invested through it!
Yup, that's the "deal".
I did get Cubasis 2 a while back but I haven't even used it. I got it via Cubasis LE and it saved a few extra dollars.
It seems unlikely that your Apple account would be locked unless you do not keep your account in good standing. What grounds would Apple have to act against their own, for-profit, interests?
Lots of confirmation that it's not only possible but non-problematic

Go for it!
Considering I have Auria Pro with all the IAPs and Cubasis 2, I do wonder if I'd get much use out of Cubasis 3. There was a time I felt Cubasis 2 was of use, but not so much since I've purchased Auria Pro. Unless I am missing something about Cubasis 3 vs. Auria Pro, not sure about that.
As to re-enabling a US iTunes account, I think it only makes economic sense to do so. After all, Apple's corporate goal is to monopolize and maximize short term profits with very little regard to negative externalities i.e, the cost that affects a third party who did not choose to incur that cost.
There is no practical reason to give Apple any more of one's limited hard earned money than need be, especially considering the state of the world at present, and thus the higher economic priorities are in plain sight.
I guess if it works, it works. Apple know where your device is at any given time so if they wanted to cross reference that with the country store you are accessing and act on it they could but it looks like they don’t.
People move around all the time. They can't force ppl to open different accounts for every country they happen to be in when they want to download an app, 😂, so I guess there's not much they can do about people using different app stores.
I’m in Canada. I have a steinberg soundcard. I got the LE version and upgraded to the full for $28.99 CDN. Probably your cheapest option if ya know someone or have something that unlocks LE.
I just realized we’re only talking like $1.50 USD difference here. I guess it all adds up over time though.
I might have some Steinberg supported products and thus have the LE version for PC / Mac (I assume?). What would be the exact upgrade order? Much thanks Chris_Auv3!
Download Cubasis 3 LE version for iOs from App Store. It’s FREE. . Plug in device to iPhone or iPad. Should unlock the LE version so it’s no longer demo. Then purchase full unlock in the store in Cubasis 3 LE. You can do this all on your device. (Phone or IPad) No need to use PC/Mac. It’s universal, I did this on my phone and when I opened Cubasis LE on my iPad it was the full version. It’ll be called Cubasis LE 3 on your device. But is the full version.
I remember something about people having problem because they bought the update of Cubasis LE and not the full version. Any body can fill the blanks?
No problems. There was some uncertainty before Cubasis 3 LE was released over whether or not IAPs would transfer. Then there was some confusion over the process to bring them over after release. But everything transfers just fine if the process is followed.
