I would be inclined to bemoan the way iPad music has been portrayed like this, do a studio recording and have people hold iPads with fake music apps in their laps. So lame.
But I'll just stop there cause I realized only 20,000 people have seen this while 6 million watched Billy Joel use an actual music app in an actual performance.
(And I actually like the song here, I mean it's Beethoven. Thanks for posting. I did enjoy it. The iPad thing was lame though. ) They could have passed out 20 iPads with Thumbjam and made a much more compelling video.

This. The early marketing/hype of iOS music was basically the same as Wii Music from Nintendo - "aww look how cute, it's almost like a real instrument!"
Even Loopy is basically a stripped down DAW, but at least it's a tool being used in a productive way!
