ios 14 beta~ don't do it yet
Hello!
Just wanted to say- for those considering the beta, don't do it yet~ I was on it for half a month, works pretty decently with cubasis almost completely normal although I'm suspicious of their interaction causing more heat-ups/cpu throttling than in 13.6.1- and definitely some weird cpu threshold tripping happening in zenbeats~ just spent 24 hours reverting back to 13.6.1 on my phone and had to have my watch sent into an apple repair center as apparently the watch ios beta is impossible to revert at home or even in store
consider yourself warned...

Counterpoint: I’ve been running the beta on my iPad since week one, and it’s been no more buggy than iOS 13. If anything, it feels faster. There’s no way I’d put it on my phone though.
Interesting.... I’ve definitely noticed some oddness especially in zenbeats once the cpu meter peaks above 50
Why do you say that re: no for phone?
Whenever I’ve installed a beta on my iPhone, I’ve had battery life troubles. On the other hand, this year I rarely leave the house. Another reason not to install on the phone is if you have an Apple Watch. You really need to put the beta on both, and if there’s a problem, you cannot downgrade the watch. You have to send it in to Apple!
My take...
IOS betas - unless you are a dev or QA - don’t bother doing them ever
