Una corda piano, Felt instruments - Pianos and strings, Josh bell violin, Valhalla reverbs, Kontakt sunburst guitar, sampletank au, woodchester piano, the giant piano, spitfire strings.
They are at least one league above ToneBooster‘s
Melodyne
The way the iOS platform is evolving I would advocate for Reaper or a DAW
with similar functions but saying this I’m more than happy with the apps that
are available.
The samplers are hands on and immediate,
innovation is covered by dRambo and
traditional synthesis is covered by MiRack.
The new swathe of auv3 apps and the older generation IAA’s are amazing.
Almost every taste is catered for.
The iOS developers are doing a fine job.
Props to the iOS platform.
What we need to do is get more finished pieces out there.
Eos 2 uses the Valhalla algorithms, doesn’t it?
I’d like to see the new Reason Friktion plugin on iOS.
Ableton !!!
Even just the fx/synths/samplers as individual AuV3s. Anything.
Synplant on an iPhone is something I often dream about.

All I need is a descent acoustic drum plugin. Like Ik multimedia modo, addictive drum or Toontrack.
+1 Toontrack
Madrona Labs, Aalto and Kaivo in particular
UAD - I can dream
U-He
I’d love a decent Pro-1 on iOS.
To answer this question you have to experience Desktop tools and if you did you probably
would just keep using them.
But reading reviews and not hearing or using the tool might help. So, let's ask Google what "The Best Plug-ins for Logic Pro X" are:
We've got 25% so far. I'd have to read up to even know what these other vendors make.
Spectrasonics ... I miss Omnisphere and Trilian ... be a tight fit though ... might need much bigger iPads. I'd even settle for a bonsai-ed version.
The EOS plate algorithm is a very early work of Sean Costello (the developer behind Valhalla DSP).
Demo the current Valhalla Plate to check the difference yourself ...
Celomony Melodyne PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
I think I will email them about this
Hehe bonsai-ed, I like that.
im happy with the plugins we have on ios. i just want ableton
No doubt, Valhalla! Close second is a mobile Ableton for me
That would be so fun! As mentioned earlier, I would vote for U-He, Madrona Labs, and Valhalla. Those guys are amazing! I’ve been waiting for Madrona Labs Sumu for long time now.
Audiogridder
MeldaProduction
Came here to say this too. Magnus has been really resistant to the idea in the past though.
Valhalla and Izotope
Came here to say exactly the same thing. Would kill for Iris 2 on iOS.
A few more offerings from TAL would be great too. Really love his sampler.
One app that I’ve thought could be interesting on iOS is the ancient but still viable ‘M’.
Described as “Classic generative composition software originally published by Intelligent Music in 1987.”
It’s a kind of sequencer/randomizer with many unique features that I haven’t seen all in one app on iOS such as Time Distort and others too many for me to list.
It’s still available for Mac OS from Cycling ’74. https://cycling74.com/products/m/
But they have never upgraded the UI (except for adding color) so it still looks just like the first version designed for those tiny early Macs which is pretty ugly and cumbersome.
Here’s a guy using it in 2014:
I´ve just got Valhalla Delay, and I really really wish to have it on iOS.. it´s sooo awesome!
Toontrack - EZ Drummer and Superior Drummer
