Put iPad on a bass amp?
This is probably a totally crazy question but .... would there be any way to safely put my iPad on top of the small bass combo amp that I use for performances?
I played bass for a church praise band, and use a GK MB110 combo amp for a personal monitor. The easiest thing for me to do would be to put my iPad on top of it while it is running JamUp. This probably would wreck the iPad, right? Or would there be a shockproof case or buffer that is worth looking into?
Otherwise, if I use jamup again, I will just mount my iPad on a separate microphone stand.
Thanks,
- Joe

If you want to do this make sure you put something like a pillow under it. If you put it directly on the amp the vibrations will slide it off. This is what happened to me with a shabby battery powered amp without much resonance. Check out this clip around 3.30 mark
