Midi mediator
I am looking for a way to take an midi in signal and assign it or transform it to a different midi single.
More specifically, I am using a midi device that doesn’t have a midi editor in iOS so what I need is an app that will take the midi signal (note or cc) and send a midi signal of my choice

Check out MidiFire, StreamByter and Mozaic.
Midiflow is another option (standalone app), as is MFXconvert (AUv3 plugin) and together with MidiFire, they're the easiest to handle if they do what you need.
I recommend mfxConvert and mfxStrip. Both are inexpensive and you won't have to learn any coding.
But, that's assuming you're using some kind of host like Audiobus, AUM, or other. If not then MidiFire or MidiFlow are good options.
Thanks, look like mfxconver will be enough, way will I need midi fire?
Rs2000, you make me fill like I have an older brother in here.
You only need MidiFire if you're not using a host like Audiobus, AUM, or other. If you do get MidiFire, you don't need mfxConvert as that functionality is already in MidiFire.
Sidebar reminder to update your reviews. mfxConvert is definitely not a one star app.![](https://forum.audiob.us/uploads/editor/7e/6drb8eh8gh8c.png)
Good catch @syrupcore - done.
Man I hate it when people take out their lack of understanding of what things do on developers. One-Star ratings should be reserved for broken apps, not as a way of venting over one's own misunderstandings.
Haha, sure, always gotta take care of my younger brothers 🤗
Sorry to necro an old thread, but it kinda makes sense to keep this info in one place.
So, I've set up a bunch of patterns in GR-16 that I need to send Program Change signals to from NS2 - currently I've added a "no instrument" track as a child of the GR-16 track, turned "send midi to parent" on, and put mfxConvert on that, mapped a note to Program Change and triggered that note in the no instrument track, and this all works perfectly. So then I decide to map another note to the next Program Change and realise that mfxConvert only seems to allow one mapping. So I added another mfxConvert and yay everything works. However, I have 16 patterns in GR-16 and having to set up 16 instances of mfxConvert seems kinda stupid. Does anyone know of an alternative that will let me map more than one note in a single instance of a midi AU? Bonus points for having a more usable UI than mfxConvert, though that shouldn't be hard.
mfxConvert does support multiple mappings. It appears that it doesn't because only one is shown at a time, but it does support as many mappings in a single instance as you need.
If you're using "Learn" then just keep sending notes and mapping to program changes. As you do, you'll notice the number of conversions next to "TO" incrementing. If you tap that box, you'll see the conversions listed and can jump around to make changes. I find it easier to just re-learn any notes that I screwed up on usually though.
Ahhhh, thanks @wim - that also rather backs up my interface comment.
Yeh, the interface ain't great. But it's basically just a quickie front-end for a few lines of Streambyter code in the background. It is what it is.![B) B)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
Now you've taught me that trick, it's pretty quick to set up. Thanks again!
