MIDI Delay/iPhone 11
Hi All,
I have played around with Korg Module and a Korg PlugKey for many months now. I had it running on an iPad 10.5 and it ran pretty well. Then I got a new iPhone 11 and I thought - well, that should be faster and should work even better; but instead, randomly I would get a midi delay on a note that would be like half a second - I mean it was really delayed - bad. Unplayable. I gave up and went back to the iPad.
I had messed around with Bluetooth MIDI and buffer settings, etc. but nothing seemed to help the iPhone 11. Then, decided to try putting making sure all other apps (besides Korg Module) were shutdown and putting the iPhone in "Airplane Mode". Bluetooth, Cell Phone, Wifi - everything was off. I think that has solved the problem.
Just curious if anyone else has noticed MIDI delay on iPhone 11 (latest OS) and if putting it in airplane mode solves the problem for them. Anyone else run into this or have any thoughts on it?
