question about IK Multimedia iLectric
Can someone explain to me what the Variations options for presets? How does this work? I've tried accessing the manual from the help menu but it never loads

The Apple Store description says:
You can save your edited sounds with up to 4 user variations per instrument.
(Downloading the app since it rolled off my storage with new purchases).
If you’re looking for some really classy Rhodes, Wurlitzer, CP and clav sounds have a look at Neo-Soul Keys Studio 1 or 2. Ilectric was good when it came out, but is pretty old now and its sounds aren’t a patch on those in NSKS.
I have that, nice sounds, but iLectric is still my favorite
Maybe I'm thick-headed, but I still don't see how this works. See video link below. Variation A is the only one I can select. If I set tremolo on for a piano, press A, go to another piano and back to that one, the Tremelo is off.

Still waiting for the iTunes Store to download the app for me to test.
OK.
Swipe to the left 2 times to reach this screen:
Then touch and Hold A, B, C or D until it's color goes solid/dark. That's now a Variation buttons storing the current knob settings for the loaded keyboard. In other words, tweak your preferences and store them here in a button. Decisions made on other pages like the FX chosen are a part of the Variation you save here.
Thanks. I simply wasn't pressing the preset button long enough.
I can't count the number of times I forgot to try holding some button for 3-5 seconds
as the Gods intended. It's more fun to just keep pressing it and swearing about products
that are not well documented. The little Pop-up help menu worked for me:
I’ve got all the Neo’s and the Rhodes from Beathawk and who know what else. iLectric still has a special place in my ear.
The $15 (I think) IAP of E-Pianos in Colossus Piano is pretty special too and no one ever mentions it. All the major E Pianos are represented and tun in an AUv3 so adding extra saturation is possible which is why people love Neo Soul so much.
Nice idea. Hadn’t thought of that.
