Can anyone explain the advantage of having both the psa-1000 and the psa-1000JR? If I just go for the non-JR then would I be missing something?
The Jr is modeled on the original mono hardware; the “big brother” is stereo and include our designed Analog Link circuit to simulate the difference between left and right channels as in real analog world. But it can be used on mono sources too, so actually you don’t miss anything

This is a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about the PSA1000. Everyone MUST MUST MUST buy this! It is an absolute golden Preamp and it’s all I use for bass guitar, vocals, and some drum saturation. The color palette of this preamp is not just unique and versatile, it’s also pristine!
The PSA1000JR is cheaper and mono only which some producers prefer, and it comes with a completely different set of factory presets.
And the BST100 for $10 is a steal...
Is BST v2 or is v2 coming to iOS? Or is it a paid upgrade, new version etc?
@And_Nembrini has said the upgrade to the MRH810 will be a free on iOS, so I imagine the newly announced desktop BST100 upgrade will be free as well...

Note that these presets are in mono, so to experience the awesome stereo fun you will have to get to work: Turn up the stereo spread. Or additionally map and level one of the channels to dry. And do try out the mid-side mapping.
And yes, had only the Jr and just got the PSA1000 in the sale.
