Analog Synths, get to grips!

This wasn't intended to turn out as a song at all.
It started with enjoying analog goodness, jamming and tweaking, until one idea chased the other. So I kept adding until it sounded remotely like a ... song.

  • Hmmm... we all seem to be getting propositioned on SoundCloud. I got one, @hypnopad and now you.
We must be the wild and crazy Czech brothers out for getting the foxes!

Beach Lisa is waiting for a response. Still a bit undecided. Might spend an afternoon with her at the beach...

  • SoundCloud seems to be infected. Even the PureSynthPlatinum upright demo was compromised. Oh, those poor gospel guys. Temptation! Be strong, Jamal!

    Yup, sounds like a song.

    Nicely done. 😇

  • Love that analog goodness. What are you using for that anyway?

My reference was mainly my memories from 70s (and some 80s) tracks with synth sounds that I liked a lot. Sound design can be quite inspiring at times. And fun.

Agreed! So, what were you using? For the analog synth sound?

Not sure if I should tell. I'll get 10.000 downvotes if I do. 😅

😊 No, the other member of the gang...

BTW, I just found that I shouldn't have mixed with the DT770s only. Quite a low-mid boost that shouldn't be.
Sounds good if you listen to that track with DT770 headphones though 😁

  • Don’t have DT770s anymore, but will have listen with my DT990 tomorrow 🎧

Being Beyers, they have a similar sound. Enjoy!

Since when does anyone downvote Drambo?

It's more about the fact that I used "thin sounding Drambo", as some have said here, to do this.
I wanted to see what kind of "analog" sounds Drambo was capable of and how far I could go with it. With a few tricks, one can do almost anything in this regard I would say now.
