iPad Pro 11 vs Pro 10.5 help!!
Hi there everyone.
I recently bought an Apogee One off eBay and then later found out it’s not compatible with the iPad Pro usbc devices.
Apogee also replied to me saying things are complicated and they face challenges when trying to get it to work so they may not be able to fix the issue of the one, duet and Some other interfaces.
They told me they made the symphony desktop to work with iPad Pro usb c (like I’m just gonna buy a £1200 interface they could one day decide not to update and make compatible with future iPads).
I was really looking for a mobile setup for my YouTube channel project and the Apogee One is the perfect tool I needed.
Now this makes me want to swap my 11 inch for and iPad Pro 10.5.
Does anyone one have both? If so, how well does Cubasis 3 perform on the 10.5?
Or has anyone ever gone back from the 11 inch to 10.5?

Have you tried a usb c hub? I got mine for $30 and it has 3 USB ports and 2 usb c ports...I use that to plug in any regular usb devices into my iPad Pro...don’t see why that wouldn’t work unless the One needs a specific driver or something
Swap the Apogee for something more compatible. There are lots of options.
A USB-C hub should work. Connect the interface to the hub to 'fool' iOS/iPadOS...
Apogee makes great devices but compatibility always been their weakness. keep your pro 11
FWIW I have a 10.5 Pro and run Cubasis 3 on it.
Great device, never had any problems. Plus it has the headphone jack.
I have a usb hub but the Apogee only works as audio out.
It's been a know issue since 2018, I just found out.
I wish it was that easy
. It's connected to my usb hub and only works as audio out.
All music apps can't communicate with its inputs.
Is there anything similar to the 0ne with it's own mic and option to add other inputs, that you know of?
