Auria crashing with AB
Has anyone noticed that, since Auria updated, it crashes with AudioBus more frequently? The other thing that happens is sometimes I lose all audio and have to reboot. I've checked to see if I'm hitting the CPU too hard, but that doesn't seem to be an issue....Anyone else having these issues?

I've been having odd issues with Auria, on and off, since I updated; and, of course, the crashes, etc. aren't easily reproducible. I've definitely had Auria boot up and not make a sound (not even at very low volumes as with a previous bug). Usually after restarting the app the same project loads ok.
That being said, when I work with Auria I tend to use IAA as much as possible.
I have posted this issue on the Auria board as well. If I hear anything I'll post it here...With both Auria and AB have new major updates coming out, hopefully this will get resolved!
Well, the major Auria update is not expected for "months" (not sure how many), Rim stated as much in a thread on the Auria board, so don't check iTunes compulsively (like me).
I'll make an effort to be more observant when working with things so that I can provide a more detailed report in your thread (something better than, "it crashed...").
Thanks @papertiger! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. It does seem like there are times where Auria and AB have real difficulty communicating. I'll try to post more detail here as well...
Maybe I can try the same Apps as you as well -- what Apps have you had problems with when using Auria and AB?
I'll have to watch more closely, but mostly AUFX apps like Dub and Space, BIAS, BM2, iGrand, at least htat's what I can recall from this weekends sessions...

Btw, I'm curious -- why do you use AUFX in Audiobus rather than IAA?
I use it both ways, depending on what I'm going for. For example, I will run BIAS through Dub in the effects slot in AB into Auria to record the the effected signal. It just doesn't work as well through IAA even with 'Record Effects' selected...
I'm noticing that too! Sometimes I can't split a file, it just won't respond, but if I go to the homepage it will be alright!
