the piano Ravenscroft has problems in Cubasis. would be great to fix this fantastic app
@tja well, Ravenscroft in cubasis 3 sounds like shit .... whereas in Aum it sounds great 🙃
It sounds correct on my iPad running CB3.
Can you expand your answer.
Hi @mlau,
Please let us have exact steps and detailed infos about your problem.
And give these steps a try too:
Does the problem occur, when loading Ravenscroft on its own in the new project?
Is the problem related to the chosen hardware latency setting (system overload)?
Best,
Lars
@mlau, sounds great for me, too. More info would be helpful. Are you adding any fx?
ok so i installed the update and played the ravenscroft and it sounds good. don’t know what was happening, it had a very plastic sounding, now it’s ok, sorry for the call out
Hi @mlau,
Thanks for the update, glad to read that things work as expected...
Best
Lars
@LFS thanks for the support !
With iOS14/iPadOS14 around the corner it will be interesting to see if Cubasis will work just as expected...
(I'll take the plunge with my iPad Air 2 the moment iPadOS14 gets out fo beta and gets released to the public).
Rumors indicate that at least two new iPad will be announced next Tuesday (iPad 8 and iPad Air 4).
I do wonder if those models retain the 3.5mm jack? (I just can't stand the BT latency for 'realtime' usage).
Cheers!
In my nearly 40 years as an owner of Apple products, I can virtually guarantee that if there is a feature you want grandfathered-into any device, you will be sadly disappointed.
“Thinner, sleeker, faster more durable!”
“and fewer I/O!”
Indeed! 👍🏻
"Progress!"
@LFS I do wonder if Cubasis will ever get support for scales for the onscreen keyboard and midi-editor?
I've gotten so used to setting the scale for the keyboard in ZenBeats, NS2 and most other sequencer apps on the iPad so going back to Cubasis and missing such an essential feature is like wtf?
(Honestly that kind 'no brainer' feature should have been there from day one!).
I know Steinberg just released Cubase 11 with the scales support and improved sampler track and, yes, apparently the Cubasis team is smaller but it's still part of the same company and thus resources should be sharable between the projects that the company handles, otherwise it's a lot of 'double work' for all involved parties and that costs money and resources...
I know the 3.2 update is in the works but I have no clue what so ever what it will include but since it's a major point-update I hope it also includes some new features and not just the regular round of 'bug fixes'.
Cheers!
I know the 3.2 update is in the works but...
Tick tick tick tick
I’m just glad to see them updating. All fixes and new features are like finding a bucket of Fried chicken in your kitchen
That sounds like we’re getting more than expected or something like that!?
I don’t mind IAPs at all...
I only ask for one thing... just one... no more: MIDI CONTROL MAPPING
simple... nothing fancy.
+1
