Aum templates, cc's external controllers

Maybe it's been already discussed here, but I am curious how do you guys are using templates with Aum.
Templates that consist of different setups with different auv3's and external midi controllers.
You might have a template for an 808 and some synths...or whatever.
In order to avoid mapping each time when a new project is involved, how likely is possible to build templates that will store midi cc's to external controller? ( considering that I'm going to use the same midi controller next time). So if I map all parameters of a drum machine ( let's say 8 channels...with level, pan, pitch, tone, decay....all individual for each channel/drum part) with my external controller, is it possible to recall that template and mappings every time?
Just curious to see your approach regarding templates or you build from scratch.

If this aspect will gain more functionality, I really won't need any other hardware to build tracks. I have a plethora of good midi controllers, plus Mio10 so I can route everything I want.
