GuitarCapo+ Working on MIDI for next version

Hi guys!

I'm working on integrating MIDI in GuitarCapo+. Have also made new recording. So, I did one take (played on a keyboard through GuitarCapo, Audiobus and AUFX:Space) and gathered some images++ to make a preview video that I have uploaded on YouTube.

There are still work to be done regarding how smooth I want the sound to be, but I wish for some other ears to listen where it stands now (I'm not a keyboard player, the guitar is my thing) Would be very much appreciated! :)

Here it is:

Cheers!

  • I have not purchased this app yet, but it on my list for future purchases.

I have a question regarding the midi thing, can each string be played on separate keys, also, can you play a chord on a single key. Can the capo be moved by midi, say a fader? Sorry for the noob questions.

Nice video, very relaxing sounds and imagery.

    Thanks

  • Thank you!

Not noob questions at all :)

Each note, on each string, is recorded from a acoustic guitar (a Martin) also for the bass (from a Ibanez bass). On the keyboard these are lined up with 2 octaves bass in the bottom and 3 octaves from the guitar following. One note on separate keys. Only control for now is sustain pedal and hold down/release and a tiny velocity variation.

The chords are played on-screen on a iPhone along with standing on the sustain pedal (change of chords in a hurry on the iPhone). Strumming chords is by pressing the chord displays and wiping strings. A minor is my start point as a guitar player strugling on the keyboard :)

For now the capo slider is only on screen.

    Cheers

  • This is great news. Maybe you should mention GuitarCapo in the title of this post. Thanks.

  • Thank you! Good idea, so I did change the title :)
