Connecting Ipad Pro 2018 to external amp and speakers
Hi, newbie here. waves
Apologies in advance, I'm sure this question has probably been posed countless times but I'm a bit confused by it all!
What would be the best way for me to connect an iPad Pro 2018 into a Marantz CD6006 (has usb input- but not usb c)
I'd really like to use my stereo in order to listen back to mixes etc
Would something like the Kingston Nucleum work for exporting the audio out of the iPad and into my stereo?
Many thanks in advance!

I connect my 2018 ipad pro to my studio monitors buy using a USB-C hub that has a headphone jack and use 3.5mm TRS Male to Left and Right RCA Male cable. That's the cheapest method. You also buy a class-compliant audio interface for your ipad and connect the speaker to the interface. As far as your current setup

The ipad pro can't connect to the Marantz unless you can find a USB-C to usb adaptor that works. And according to the CD6006 manual you can't use a hub so the Kingston Nucleum won't work.
I believe the CD6006 expects to be a USB host, so it would not connect with the iPad, also a USB host. As suggested by @hacked_to_pieces, you could use any USB adapter that outputs audio. That could be a DAC or a hub with audio output. Provided your stereo has audio inputs, of course.
Thanks so much for the replies. The RCA cable seems the best way to go then.
Thanks again 👍🏻
