I've downloaded a few of their apps, and realized their entire catalog is free on iOS.
I understand these were desktop plug-ins that were ported to Apple.
If one is short on disc storage, which of these (if any) are download worthy???

Viking is great! And the reverb is good. Some ppl like the green dist (poor replica of the Ibanez ?) I dont like their dist,filters,chorus, and bitcrusher at all ..they do not sit in the mix, sounds..ehh. plastic - its free but why add cht that sounds..cht
They're all decent enough if you don't have a better alternative, but none of them are best in class. I use them occasionally because they're quite low on CPU and easy to use.
Just get them all! They sound so good. Viking synth is a clone of the mini moog and damn good it is too.
The reverb and chorus sound fantastic. Not up there with eventide/toneboosters or Bleass but for free you will not be dissapointed and they are not that far behind.
I would pay the dev to make viking synth polyphonic it is that good.
The overdrive is nice too. Bitcrusher does its own thing and is worth exoerimenting with. There are a lot of sweet spots with tbese apps.
I think they are hoping to build brand that will pay off when people use Reason, Desktop VST"s or
Rack Extensions in their VCV Rack. They are letting on all cylinders a few years ago but IOS competition
started to make them loose momentum so they have these everything free sales.

F-16 Filter has an unique character that I like
I second the Reverb, Chorus, and Viking. LRC5 replaced the need for the filter, and fuzz plus or Rough Rider (can’t remember which) replaces the need for the overdrive.
As I produce on GarageBand, never found much need for the bitcrusher but I’ll test it before I fully decide.

2 Back to Back DC-9 (Tubescreamer clones) are incredible to generate pick noise for that
SRV sound on guitar. Probably works on drums to trash the shit out of them. TWO in series.

Viking is good, but if you have Moog's emulation or Mood, I'm not sure I'd pick Viking over them. If you don't have either of them then go for it.
However, looking at these effects again and I'm wondering why I stopped using them. F16 is just a solid filter. Sounds good, nice interface. DC-9 is also pretty great if you don't have the Nembini stuff and is super easy to use.
The reverb is fine, but there are loads of better options out there. I find it useful for when I need to quickly add a little bit of space to something which won't be a lead instrument. It's quite efficient and super fast to dial a sound in.
Viking is definitely not up the level of Moog Model D BUT it is pretty light on CPU and sounds good. So, it can be useful when you need some of those tones and are running low on CPU when they aren't front and center.
If you have the most office space you can often get your logo on the building in an industrial business park. But 2 buildings? They were huge a few years ago when Reason Racks were booming and tipped a toes in the IOS space but have obviously given up breaking even with more products.
I like the fact they they write: "Visit our HQ offices" but don't provide an address on their site. Still.

$50-100K and get competitive benefits. They would be hiring math quants capable of handling complex
DSP coding optimizations and NOT just wrapping GUI's around the apple DSP code.

I don’t know anything for sure. I think I’m picking up subtle whiff irony though. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one guy or gal, tongue firmly planted in cheek. But I could be wrong.
I enjoy the mystery of it. Are they massive. Nothing speaks to a massive software in terms of polish so it could be a few crazy guys. They have shipped much on any platform I think except Viking updated instances and some high end FX. VCV Rack got blown away by the free projects, I think. The Rack Extensions of Reason probably also slowed down in recent years. Maybe they worked in one of the
companies that had a Logo on an office space building. I spent 13 years in one of those buildings from
1991-2003 in a little town called Pleasanton, CA. Then came back with a reseller in the next building for 5 years more. The car could drive home even before Tesla solved that problem. I kept falling asleep but always in very short doses... over the famous Altamont where the biker's killed that guy. Good times. 30 years in all driving over the Pass. I calculated my total miles once for my driving career and it was over 1 million miles. With only 1 accident. Sleep deprived that time too but at 8AM.
Reason refill developers don’t have huge buildings. Full stop.
