Anyone Tried the New - Chord Glide
A New app came out a few days ago called Chord Glide. It looks really interesting. It sends midi out but no AUv3. Anyone tried it yet? I’m curious about its abilities. It’s only $00.99 and it’s currently #14 in the US App Store for paid Music Apps. Haven’t seen it mentioned here yet, so I figured I’d post it. Cheers.

Midi out at the moment only seems to be via a cabled connection to a Mac DAW - can't get it to drive anything via Midi on an iPad. I've written to the dev to see if this is something youi should be able to do, or if he has plans to implement AUv3. For the price it's got a lot under the hood but is a very much a hands on performance app at the moment as far as I can see...
It is alright for a dollar.
Pretty basic, easy to put in your own chords or Arp sequences.
It does work with AUM.
It seems to auto-connect to available midi ports, so the AUM destination port was able to drive MU Waverly for me.
Ahh - OK - I'll try that again - wasn't having a lot of luck last time I tried but didn't spend a lot of time with it TBH...
5 minute play. Pros yes got it to work sending to AUM destination seems you have to open the chord glide last though to get that to work. Had 1 crash when dragging a chord set into the main play area. You can set the sequencer ARP settings which seems the best part of it but the menu for that is hidden. I like the idea & hope the app becomes more stable and gets expanded on connectivity wise.
I tried linking it initially using MidiFlow As a 3rd party app connector but it wasn’t listed that I could see So surprised it connects via AUM destination.
i really like it. wish the arpeggiator was a bit more flexible to get more complex patterns
The dev (Jeff Omidvaran) is looking at prioritising connectivity with iPad apps for the next update. Not sure if this means AUv3 though...
Good to know think this app could become a slow burner.
Better midi would be a good start.
Oh ok so it does work in AUM. Good to know.

Getting mixed results using this today getting stuck notes driving Beathawk AU in AUM. The internal synth plays now and again even though I’ve muted it. Haven’t tried using it via IDAM yet over usb hopefully more stable. Hope that midi channel per pad comes in at some point.
I like the idea this app comes with hoping it improves have dropped the dev a quite line.
Had a quick play into AUM it’s a fun tool.
