Do Digistix or Patterning2 have GLOBAL MIDI?
In both Patterning 2 and Digistix I feel like the pad/note-mappings have to be redone with every song [or kit].
What I mean by "global MIDI" is a way to set-it-once-and-forget-it to map each pad on my MIDI Controller to a "pad" in the app.
I don't understand the use-case where you wouldn't want to have a "default setting".
Point being, I love Patterning2 and dig a lot about Digistix, but I don't have the patience to reprogramming every-single drum-patch/song.
Is there a way to not have to duplicate the work?

They are generally set to notes. If you scroll to the bottom of Digistix it tells you that the pads start with C2. Patterning starts with C4 and just uses the white keys. Just set your pads to different setups. Many pad controllers have banks where you can set the notes. Use a bank for Digistix and a separate back for Patterning.
