iOS and Video Games?
Do you know of or use iOS to play any video games?
I had sick animal woes and a passing so looking to do some new things to keep my mind occupied.
I figured this may be a good thing to look into.
Thanks!

I used to play PUBG mobile a LOT. Great gaming experience on iPad Mini 5. Also Modern Combat serie is great FPS gaming experience .. and Galaxy of Fire (expecially 1,2 - third installment wasn't that good) is great "Elite-like" space shooter with great storyline, open universe, purchasing / selling goods and upgrading components of ship, etc ...
🙁 sorry to hear that bro’
First, I’m really sorry about the loss of your animal. There’s nothing harder than losing a pet.
Second, iOS has a golden age of independent games that were perfect for the platform from like 2011-2015, so there's plenty of stuff out there. Give me a genre or two you would prefer to play and I can give you plenty of recs.
In the meantime, try the free Apple Arcade trial solely for the game Sayonara Wild Hearts.
If that's not your bag, try Game Club, especially if you like old-school classic games. It's subscription-based, unfortunately, but it has a ton of those iOS classics I mentioned earlier (they acquired the rights to tons of games devs didn't port over when iOS went 32-bit). Plus, I'm pretty sure you can play anything for free, just with the occasional ad. A treasure trove of good stuff though. Edit: checked, and you have to subscribe, but first month is free so you can sign up and cancel immediately.

And here's two favorites from Simogo that might be up your alley. They were one of the best, most original devs.

And finally, if story-based or text based isn't your thing, then go fishing and then shoot your fish with shotguns for money. Probably the most undeniably pure fun and absurd game on iOS.

Thank you so much.
Genre...I am open.
I am not picky at this point.
Appreciate it~
I play this browser-based Mahjong solitaire game a lot, more than the one I downloaded.

Sorry for your loss
Sorry to hear about your loss. As someone else mentioned, Stardew Valley is a good one, I played that a lot after my grandma passed away and the at home feeling the game gives you was really comforting and helped occupy my mind a lot. I also just got Neverwinter Nights a couple days ago if you want to play an incredibly immersive rpg https://apps.apple.com/us/app/neverwinter-nights/id1466096721
A very simple game, but 1) it's fun anyway and 2) it's from the quality developer who made Xequence 🥳 😉

Thank you
LOL
THANKS MAN!
I’m replaying Neverwinter Nights huge time filler especially since you can load and play nearly all the old community developed mods.
I want to know too!
Apple Arcade is an amazing deal!
PlayStation has PS Remote Play - must be on home WiFi

I primarily play on other platforms. Because of the touch controls, iOS games are frequently the most inconvenient to play. If I decide to use a controller, I simply play on my Xbox, which is essentially the same. Not to mention the fact that I own a switch, so portability isn't much of an advantage for me when it comes to iOS gaming.
