I waited for it so long.
🤩🤩🤩
Is there a way to auto generate chords in scale, in order, or is it just random?
I think he has just imagined it in Photoshop looking at his comments !
"Yes, finally I found the time to do a Photoshop (Pixelmator Pro in reality) edit to imagine what ChordPolyPad could have looked like in Audio Unit version."
Joking? Is it real? I think he was joking and it is real
I heard the photoshop will be an IAP
I hope it’s for real! I waited si much for an AUv3 !
There are many chord options these days: Tonality and ChordBud
Dont forget Suggester
I was just about to buy this! I wonder if I should hold off. Is it an Auv3 update or will it be a replacement, like Stepolyarp Unit was for Stepolyarp? Any speculation?
A separate app seems like a good possibility IMO. But if you like the app, I don't see anything here that makes it sound like it would be any time soon.
So sick! The strum feature on this app is what it's all about.
Yes please!
And I would gladly pay for a separate app, the same way StepPolyArp Unit was released.
But if this is just a ruse, that’s some cruel teasing....
Which makes me think it’s actually the real deal.
I have not seen another app with CPP's flexibility regarding voicings. It and the keyboard in Cubasis are the only examples I know of in iOS. Cubasis only has 10 "slots", I think, whereas CPP has considerably more. CPP is like Cthulhu on PC. Having CPP as an AUv3 would be great!
Plus every pad can be an XY controller for Midi CCs.
You can choose from a list sorted by scale and root note, or fill out the pads randomly by scale, root note, and complexity. The latter method also lets you go by one pad at a time or all at once.
I think it's the best chord MIDI controller available, and it would be great to see as an AU, though I just now saw that response from the developer which I originally missed on Twitter.... Looks like maybe it is just a mock up??
Yeee this is so good for getting chords down. My hands and brain aren't fast enough still to compute the different voicings on the fly
Good to know.
Anyone with a Twitter accunt can send him this thread??
It's a mock up, but it obviously makes sense to do a mock up first before coding, and it seems like a waste of time to bother to do a mock up just to mess with your own users. So who knows?
But in the meantime I'm not going to hold my breath.
Maybe he's just gauging interest.
Nice, thanks Laurent
