AU Synth patches not remembered when reloading session in AUM
Hi, I am trying to use AUM with a bunch of AU plugins but I’m finding when I have created the patches on each synth and then save the AUM session none of my patches are recalled. This happens regardless of whether I save the patch on the AU itself or as an AUM patch.
It doesn’t seemed to happen with all apps but two I have problems are Blamsoft Viking and JimAudio Poision. No matter what I try the patches aren’t recalled.
It seems to work fine with Beepstreet Horizon and JimAudio PureAcid (I don’t even have to save the patch in the AU, my changes are saved with the AUM session)
Any tips to get this working, or is this a bug with certain apps?

@sdesign Is this with iOS 14? Was it working with previous iOS versions?
I recently noticed the same thing with Poison 202. Happens only on iOS 14.
What I do, as a workaround, is save my Poison 202 patch using it's preset manager. Then, when I load the AUM project I just reload the patch in Poison 202 (you can see the name of the patch you used).
It's not perfect, but I can live with it until Poison 202 is updated with a fix.
It looks like this is an IOS 14 bug, and it'll be fixed in iOS 14.2
Yes this was in ios14. How do you know it will be fixed?
I sent a bug report to Jim audio and got that answer (in a matter of minutes
)
The current beta for iOS 14 fixes the issue in my AU's. I think it will probably fix the problem for all the AU's with the preset/state saving issue.
Cool thanks
