Roland releases free browser-based 808 and 303
Wondering if anyone else had seen these yet. Didn't see an obvious thread, so here you go:

yeah...I don't get the hype behind this. Your mobile phone can do more than this. Maybe it's for the ones without mobile phone.
Interesting. It sounds good and could be sampled into something like Koala or BM3. Though Pure Acid might be a better choice.
1) It's free, AFAIK there are no free clones of these on the phone
2) Browser-based so it opens up all kinds of access globally
3) Gives me something to do that looks like work behind a screen. lol

It's big shame when Roland tries to make emulation of 303 and it sounds totally not like a 303 :-))) Especially accent sounds completely differently - Troublemaker or Pure Acid are WAY MUCH MORE closer to real 303 .. this is nothing, just wannabe ..
