CPU Light Midi in AUM?
I like to record things in AUM. When I do that I don’t end up with tight, synced mixdowns. Is there an app that I can use as an AUv3 that will, say, just send a midi note on the downbeat, as well as an initial note on another channel that I could purpose as a clock start?
How do some people accomplish this without loading up Cubasis, or BM3, for instance. How do I keep it light on the CPU? I guess if I could get AUM to send a midi signal when I hit record on the transport that would be ideal...

What are you trying to sync together that isn’t staying in sync?
You can set AUM to send MIDI Clock which will start running when it’s transport does.
Knowing the particulars of what you are trying to sync would be helpful in figuring out the right solution.
Audulus! It doesn’t receive midi clock, so in the past I have used a daw to just loop midi notes, then send those to the midi keyboard module in Audulus, which I use as a clock.
What I would like to do is find something much less cpu intensive than BM3, Cubasis or Gadget to perform this task.
Audiobus3 could be a better idea (forum ppl like it for its midi timing) and it gots "offset" for that mojo too, lots of wizards around here to help

miRack can easily do it for you:
Great solution, thanks! I was sleeping on miRack, so this was also fantastic. The clock seems really tight so far.
Great. I'm glad it worked for you.
Yes, the sync should be tight as it's getting the clock pulse directly from the host's AU sync, which should be the tightest available.
