Korg module in GarageBand Air3
I’ve been using Korg Module via IAA in GarageBand and I quit using it because the instruments didn’t seem to be in tune with the GarageBand instruments. I was hoping the AUv3 update would fix this, but it didn’t.
Surely I’m not the only one experiencing this, is there any work around?
Comments
What iPad / iPhone are you using?
(Oops, Air 3 defaults to 48K, there's the problem).
This could be related to the dreaded sample-rate issue...
On my iPad Air 2 (which defaults to 44.1k in GarageBand) I have no issues with things being out of tune.
I do have 'issues' with the two new Soundpakcs being greyed out in the AUv3,
They work perfectly in the stand-alone!
(Tried rebooting and restoring them but no workie, I don't feel like re-installing all modules just to work around a 'bug').
Cheers!
So is there any workaround?
So far the only workaround that has worked consistently,
as I also have an Air 3, is to use an external audio interface
and use that to set the freq to 44.1kHz otherwise the Air 3
automatically defaults to 48kHz as @Samu has mentioned.
I think the current workaround is to load up a preset in stand alone and then save it as a user preset. This should show up in the AU. Haven’t tried this myself, not sure about the IAPs yet.
Thanks gentlemen!
