Just kidding...

Korg MS20.
In the 90s, I didn’t have one for ages, although I could’ve, as I already had an MS10 and SQ10 and other stuff. So I finally got one. Then I stopped making music altogether. That final synth took me over the well-established “too much gear” limit. As we went into the 2000s, I sold it. I now regret it, except there’s iMS20 which I’m perfectly happy with, so I only regret selling it back then because I could be selling it now for more.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
THE OPfucking1!!!!!!
I didn't buy it at first, regretted it, so sold my push 1 and used my tax return to get an op1, had fun for a month or two but I soon regretted it, so I sold it for 600$ at a 50$ loss, a few months later the price tripled in value
😂
I’ve bought two octatracks at different times now and just sold the second. Might get a third one day.
My head hurts
This discussion is describing my first marriage
Because you bought your wife?
My second 🤪

Wanted a KP3 ,bought it ,regretted , sold it, regretted ,bough another one ,regretted , sold it ...
...but I don't miss it.
Same with
wanted an SP606, bought it,regretted it, sold it ,regretted ,bought another ,regretted ,sold again ,regretted ,bought a 3d one ,regretted ,sold for the 3d time . I do miss it but I have a feeling I'll sell it again!
Maybe this one fits better
I always wanted a a VP9000 and bought it,regretted it, sold it ,regretted ,bought another ,regretted ,sold again ,now I regret it...
I would feel this way about my BeatStep Pro if I could be arsed to sell it. I’m still in “buy and be damned” mode. How could I ever sell something that sequences! It's just so bleedin clever. Ill compromise and just ignore it for a bit!
Edit ...
Gear you wish existed but doesn't so you keep mentioning it hoping someone have found it or is willing to make it for you at a fraction of the cost you really think it's worth.
Gear that also work as a weapon in the Zombie apocalypse.
Gear that someone gave you and you didn't even open the box until much later when you found out it's the real deal and can help make hit records.
Gear that looks like it isn't really gear.
Gear that literally helped you manage GAS. After purchase you were set for at least 30 days.
Same for the KP3! Very fun toy, but for 1 day. When you think of it, you can buy an iPad for the same price.
iPad > KP3
Well , back in the days with iPad2, KP3 was still useful . I always bumped to the same issue
I couldn't disable the FX for specific bank ,so not much resampling (plus it had limited time!)
Now Turnado ,effectrix ,even elastic fx with LoopyHD is better
Youtube content that's related to all the various gear topics.
Weird Gear

Bad Gear

I wouldn’t be without mine. I have two KP3, a Kaoss Quad and a couple of mini KP’s.
Even after all this time the KP 3’s hold their price pretty well.
I can complete a track on iOS and give it a complete make over with the Kaoss Pads.
TR909
Sold it in the 80’s for $500
Worth around $3000 now.
The Roland TR-09 Boutique is not a perfect clone? Give me 1 good reason to own the TR909 instead of the TR-09?
I don’t need either.
What I’d like is the trophy of owning something worth $3000. That, or $3000
I sold a mint TB303 a friend gave me because he thought it was broken. Worked fine, he just didn't know how to use it. Paid for my my first iPhone (1st gen), which got way more use than that 303 ever did
