    That song is perfect.

Amazingly I have never knowingly heard that tune before but it is now Number 1 on today's chart. Thank you Sir!

  • You’re welcome!
It’s a gem, as is the whole album.
BTW that is one of my favourite Bowie tunes, from one of my favourite Bowie albums.

  • Massive Attack – Special Cases, I’d been trying to get that athmosphere and even the bent strings for a year and then that came out. Still my favourite album of the MA catalogue.

  • Fleet Foxes Lorelai

  • Bachman–Turner Overdrive robbed the opening chord sequence for You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet from my high school / college band - we wrote it as part of one of our tunes in 1992 and generally played it as number 2 on the set list for about a year :D

I didn't realise until much later, and I can't even remember the name of our track, just the joy I had playing it very loud :)

  • Deadmau5 - Not Exactly

There’s a part in it that sounds very similar to something I had made a few years prior using Steinberg Sequel and uploaded on MySpace.

I had a few weird tunes on MySpace and while the profile still exists, MySpace has since lost the files.

Did have a good chuckle. I think I recognize that youngster.

And now he's telling everyone to avoid the cardinal sin #1 in EDM: Doing what he did 😂

Yeah still amuses me to this day when I hear it, checked it this morning, they played it way tighter than we did. However, we weren’t amused when we heard some of the lyrics for another one of our songs in the middle of a Waterboys track while we were listening to the radio in the car - our singer couldn’t satisfactorily explain it, but he didn’t seem to see the problem 😆 - that’s another story though :)
