beware the widget / reorganized apps

edited October 2020 in Other

so i had a disaster today... and this is going to result in redoing my ipad now 🤣...

be warned , this could happen to you

but all i did was add a widget for youtube music to my home screen , and when i went to move it over a few pages it kicked every single app i had in an folder out of the their folders and piled them up all over the home screens in no particular order. completely made a mess of everything i had going on...i was very mad 😡 haha...
i’ve spend the last three hours reorganizing everything but i actually came up with a much better system! i’ll only share music apps here since it’s ab forum, but i like the new organization , so to be positive i’ll say it was, in the end, worth it.. even tho i’m getting the iphone 12 pro max soon so ill be doing it all over again anyway 🤣

so i still have my most used music apps out side of folders just so i can admire looking at them and decide visually what i want to use in a project... but i’m really loving the way the folders are broken down now by their particular function.

figured id share for those who need some organization inspiration 😎

audio and midi effects by category!

and just for fun, a couple pages of my most used.

  • Excellent.
Your folder organization is remarkably similar to my own.

i’ve wanted to do this a while but with everything loading up in a host and not having to to click on a desktop icon ive kinda just never really organized with this much detail... but it still very helpful to really see what apps i have and play a role in the decision making process! i like it , feels gooooood

  • just got finished with the ipad, wow so many effects and random instruments i’ve forgotten or never even opened 🤣
