SWAMi / GeoSWAM +
I didn’t intend to make this track, but SWAM carried me away. GeoShred’s SWAM violin has a downloadable Sarangi preset by Navneeth Sundar which is impeccable. Plus GeoViolin arp preset.
In addition, Module Choir, Cello with Strings and BASSalicious. Improvised on the GeoShred fretboard. I guess I’m hooked. Thank you @moForte and @audiomodeling!

Beautiful.
Nice!
I think I have enough room for one more SWAM instrument. Now I can’t decide between the violin or the cello!
I vastly prefer the cello.
Do u have a link for this sarangi preset @LinearLineman? Couldn’t find it online. Surprised it isn’t already added into the default presets. Also - is it definitely a swam preset? Maybe just a geoshred preset?
Sounds great @LinearLineman - nice tip of the hat to Copland. These SWAM instruments sound good - must investigate.
Many nice things in one place.
@Moderndaycompiler, thank you very much.
@Intrepolicious, go for the cello. I got the violin because there is no really good one on iOS, IMO.
@pbelgium, thanks, as always. Copland.... yes, but it was unintentional. He’s in my blood.
@JohnnyGoodyear, thanks for the praise.
@Gavinski, here’s the link. I may be wrong about needing SWAM. It appears in the regular presets. I just couldn’t download it until I got the violin, but it might have been a coincidence. There are other Ravneeth downloads as well. Link in description.
+1.
But in the end my suggestion is... get both, you can’t g wrong.
@LinearLineman very nice track👍
So how’s that wait for the stand-alone going for you, bro?
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, well, the midi controller workaround obviated that. No reason to wait.
Thanks @Charlesalbert!
Wow. These instruments (GeoShred with SWAM, Korg Module, Gospel Musicians) really take you music to a new level of excellence. Even the the clarity of the mix is better... it doesn't sound like something compromised by using IOS.
It's also very cool to see what your hands can do on the iPad Surface with an expressive layout screen like GeoShred has. The list of apps that have these types of inputs is growing.
I hope you continue to explore these techniques in addition to your other workflows.
And thanks for the pointer to the Sarangi preset download. There are 3 instruments with custom presets. Anyone can make additional preset of these instruments. This one exposed the EQ FX'es I didn't know existed in
GeoShred. There are dozens of FX under the hood to enable and tweak.
