Importing .m4a files in to L7 Looper

What I want to do is import an .m4a clip that my guitar teacher has played, loop it, and then play over it. The problem I'm having is that once I import it, the clip sounds like harmonica music. What I'm wondering is if L7 converts it into midi, or if there's something completely different that I'm missing.

Thanks,

Allan

Maybe you need to convert to wav or aif before importing

  • Even possibly mp3. MP3 files work in sEGments.
