Did you double the sax with the bass? I got the GeoSax app and it's hard to master, IMHO.
I think I need to turn a lot of the default modulations off and go for a straight tone.
@McD, yes I doubled the sax with a BASSalicious acoustic. I agree, the dry versions of the SWAMs are best. Re adding expression, did you try adding the expressive features by recording just the expression
tools on top? Works for me.
Lovely track!
@LinearLineman I was under the impression that regular MIDI controllers do not work with the GeoShred SWAM instruments. only MPE controllers would work. It could be I misunderstood Gavinski's statements in his tutorial video. Clearly the SWAM instruments are working fine for your MIDI controller.
What are you doing to add the expression after you cut your initial MIDI recording? Are you just doubling the notes from GeoShred on a 2nd track as the first track plays?
@GovernorSilver, thanks. I explain it in this thread...

Thanks! Will try your idea with Cubasis 2 - I don't have v3 yet.
@GovernorSilver, CB2 will work, no problem. Have a listen to my newly posted “String Ensemble 1”.
Btw, you must set your midi controller to channel 2 or above. Channel 1 only works with MPE Controllers.
