Studiomux... it’s broken in ios14... hopefully an update will...
Yeah, thanks ! I was asking if i can do the same in Windows 10 ?
StudioMux. If you can get it working ... and keep it working ... and aren't on iOS 14 yet.
Not advised IMO. YMMV.
So the only reliable way to use your apps with ableton is to get a mac? Lol. Damn I was trying to avoid that.
an iconnect device will make your life so much easier.
Why they are so special ?
*EDIT
I search about them. That's exactly what i need. Will look for a iCA2+
ME TOO ! I have a old Mac Mini but .... i really don't want to use a Mac desktop just for music (which sounds nice, but is a 2009 mac mini)
Sorta bootleg, but there are times I monitor the iPad in my DAW or direct, via Ipad headphone out into my interface, but don’t record that signal - I have a lot of noise issues specifically with iPads, usually connected to power, while using the headphone out, or if my iMac’s airport card is on, or countless other scenarios - rather, while I use that to hear what I’m working on, I record channels direct in AUM and just airdrop them afterwards and drag them straight into logic/Ableton.
Doesn’t work for every situation, and is unnecessary in others, but the bonus is the actual content of the recording won’t have any latency due to D/A, A/D, IDAM/aggregate buffer, etc. and starts recording right at 1:1:1:1 assuming you’re synced. The best part is you can multi track as many channels and sends as your iPad can handle, which I’ve never overstressed before running out of space.
There are of course much more comprehensive and legit solutions, but it works well for some uses.
