Depends on who you ask. I rarely have any issues. Actually, I can't remember the last time I did.

Others have give up on it. @ monzopro in particular posted irreconcilable differences and gave up on it. Sadly, I searched the forum and he's joined the [Deleted User] club. But a forum search for monzopro MultiTrack will bring up some history.

I'm a light user and tend to have fewer problems than others for reasons I don't understand, so I tend to believe it's not a particularly stable app for serious use.

    I'm on iOS 13.7. ymmv

  • I dipped my toe in it briefly and had instant issues. Ghost clips that wouldn't disappear when deleted were an obvious bug.

There were other things about it that I don't recall 100% but think it had to do with the minimum clip length. I seem to recall being able to split a clip quite small but then when I would go to tweak the length it would snap back up to a full bar length (or some such thing). Very clunky at the time, maybe it has been updated. I pretty much felt within about thirty minutes that it would have been OK for me to host long vocal tracks in NS2 that didn’t need much editing.

  • I think it you use it just to record clips and arrange them in a simple fashion it works. Anything much beyond that seems to trigger issues.
