On The River Meander / House Mark1
House Mark1 Sounds good to me. @Daveypoo? I know you were a bit lukewarm on this EP.
Ravenscroft 275, Module Strings, and a @Spidericemidas Sunrizer preset. Improvised like

Very nice piano improv in a mellow meandering way. Lovely strings. EP sounds great to me. Just love the warm rounded sound of an EP. Cool use of the Sunrizer preset too! Makes me happy to hear one of my presets being used in such wonderfully musical pieces as yours. 👍👍
Thanks, @Spidericemidas i always look for and listen to your stuff when I’m looking for something to complement acoustics. Your presets are very suited for such employment. Keep up the good work!
Amazing ! Really inspiring piece.
Wow Mike, I’ve been wondering when you were going to find the House: Mark I!
I think AudioKit made this instrument just for you! Outstanding. Btw, was that the Sunrizer preset beginning at 5:04? Love it!
Thanks so much for listening and commenting @Thepixelproducers. Much appreciated.
@Intrepolicious, yes it comes in earlier, too, if you listen for it. A kind of ethereal thermin type sound.
I do think the House Mark1 has stuff to offer.
This piece is just beautiful, @LinearLineman - truly. Sorry I missed the tag here.
I think House Mark I is extremely effective here, and really supports the piano well. It's true - House Mark I doesn't excite me as much as NSKS2 or Electric Vintage, but not for any reason beyond personal preference.
More magic from your fingers - how do you do it? It takes me a million years just to codify an idea lately... I miss making music with you, my friend. Sorry I kinda fell off the map there.
Thanks, @Daveypoo. Glad you liked it. I have a lot of time, few responsibilities, too old to be too anxious and I can improvise.
That’s how I do it.
Yeah - the anxiousness thing gets me EVERY DAMN TIME.
We must buy the AudioKit apps... they created a code base for other developers to make
AUv3's which means we're paying it forward when we buy "yet another" Electronic Piano
when EP's are done, really.
I'm really trying to find a flaw in Ravenscroft... really trying... I think the natural wood finish doesn't look as good as the black lacquer Pianos. That's all I got. Are those keys real ivory?
I didn't think so.
Carry on.
Lovely exploration, thank you.
Where do I find the @Spidericemidas preset for Sunrizer?

@McD, agreed. Support for AudioKit good. The flaw in Ravenscroft is that it lacks the ability to separate complex chords into individual sounds. Especially in the bass. A problem for all piano simulacra and most acoustic instruments as well.
