Zenbeats vs MC-101 as sound module
How does Zenbeats compare to the MC-101 when strictly used as a multitimbral sound module? Are the presets on both similar or even the same?
Thanks,

[edit] Oh ... you meant specifically the ZC-1, not Zenbeats as a whole. nvm.
The sound engine is supposed to be the same in both ZC-1 & MC-101(Zencore). The MC-101 however has way more presets.
As an example the ZC-1 has 3 drum kits that honestly beat the crap (ie. way more 'expressive', round-robins and velocity sensitivity etc.) out of the regular Zenbeats drum kits while the MC-101 has a lot more kits and sounds to boot.
I guess along the line Zenbeats will gain more presets for the ZC-1 and maybe even more advanced editing capabilities similar to Zenology Pro. Zenology Pro can already export presets that can be used with both ZC-1 and MC-101 is I guess it's just a matter of time and / or corporate strategy over at Roland.
Cheers!
@Samu : The ultmate unlock on Zenbeats gives you tons of ZC1 presets though.
I have the platform unlock that unlocks the full ZC-1 for Zenbeats which has >800 presets.
How many kits do you have in the Drums category?
