Internal audio routing/recording
Hello all, first post here. Seems like the best place to ask about this.
One thing I really miss from the computer is being able to use Audio Hijack Pro or Soundflower to grab samples from video. From what I can tell, there is currently no app on the market that allows this, although there are a few that may allow you to record from YouTube, which is ok but not ideal if you view content elsewhere. Are there any workarounds or apps I might have missed, or possibly a way to have Audiobus access the internal audio as an input instead of the mic?

There are some that will extract the audio from a video file. And Auria can then run the video along with the extracted (or other) audio, and re-encode new audio back into the video.
Beat Time does this and is AB/IAA supported.

Hmmm, Beat Time is a step in the right direction. As I view a lot of content via Plex, it would be ideal to be able to be able to just access the audio while I'm watching something and record it, without needing to load the file on my device, relocate the part I wish to sample in Beat Time, etc. it would also be nice to access the audio from Netflix, Vimeo, and other video sources besides YouTube, thus why I thought some way to record the system audio would be best.
Yeah Soundflower is fantastic and my go to source when a client says "I want it to sound like this" (I Soundflower record, analyze, rip midi melody out, change a few pieces and bam project done)...
I was just thinking today how I wish they had a Soundflower app input for Audiobus. And then I see this thread. Very strange.
Is this something that might be possible in a future Audiobus update?
If you have a USB audio device you can go from headphone out on the ipad to the USB device's audio in. Perhaps not awesome but it should work. http://auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=11678&start=15#p30544
