Fundamental AUV3 broken in 14.2? Resolved

Hi all,

Anybody else getting this? I used Fundamental the first time today after ‘upgrading’ to IOS 14.2 a couple of days ago, and it is completely silent in AUM, though it still works fine standalone. I did all the usual, closing and reopening AUM sessions, deleting and reinstalling the app, soft resetting the iPad - nothing. Is it just me or has anyone else got an issue. (And yes, I did turn the Trig button on). I have reported this to the dev.

You have to load a preset / init, then pull down the faders, then turn the trig off and on again and pull up the faders. That's how it worked for me.

  • I have 14.2 on my Air2 which I don't really use for music any more but I tested briefly and it's still making sound for me.

  • All ok for me - just worked like it always did...

  • @vrtx_void : thanks, yup, that worked. :) Weird thing is, I didn’t used to have to do that.

  • Sounds like a Fundamental flaw to me.

    You're welcome
These weird things remind me of old GameBoy cartridges: You had to blow through them to make them work sometimes. Why? Well, noone knows, but it always worked 🤣
