Very nice piece of music. Did you use a mic or a pickup for the harp?
Thanks @rcf, I’ve got a pickup on the harp as it’s a pain to mic up.
That was quite beautiful sounding.
I also checked the other 3 of your more traditional harp music videos and it was all really great.
@CracklePot ha! Yes, the traditional tunes. I struck lucky and had a ridiculous amount of views on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks for listening, this forum has helped me enormously.
Very inspiring
Thanks @Charlesalbert 👍
Fascinating what you can achieve with this tool.
Lovely vibes Ian!
@Philandering_Bastard its so true, everyday my mind is blown by what is possible, thank you.
@Gavinski a while back you made me question the formulaic approach to writing tunes. I ain’t been near a verse, chorus, verse, verse, chorus since... 👍
Glad you left the formulae behind @rud. Very soothing and lovely. Hans Zimmerish, no?
Very chill. Nice work!
Nicely done mate.
Very nice indeed!
Love it!
Great, that's also what getting interested in midi and generative stuff has done for me, just forcing you to approach things freshly, it's exciting.
Very nice!
Running tracks completed elsewhere through tools like Borderlands and Spacecraft is always so gratifying.
Amazing options available to us.
Up The Villa!
(Sorry, couldn’t resist 😂)
Thank you, my wife thought it was like an Eno collaboration but I’m happy with Zimmer.
Thank you, it’s great to start sharing and this forum has changed everything for me.
Yup, I’ve jumped into Borderlands, Spacecraft, Tardigrain and iDensity and love them all. Long live Pongo Waring! Up the Villa indeed 👍

Amazing to think that ten minutes ago some ignorant United fans (self) were sneering and jeering at the idea of offering a penny for Jack. The stock market of men is a funny thing to watch...
@rud I have to admit, I’ve been genuinely fascinated by the harp for quite a while.. coming from an acoustic guitar perspective.. ALL those extra strings to strum + pluck and.. 🤷♂️ I would love to sit down with one just to hear + feel what it’s all about.. and then record that interaction + exploration to be able to manipulate any which way, at a later point in time.. Add in any one of the amazing apps we have at our disposal on an iPad and.. my mind goes loopy.. 🤪 Exactly as you’ve done here..
Good to hear that you’ve taken full advantage of all of this.. Excellent choice(s)! Look forward to hearing any of your iOS experiments in the future.. 👍

Nicely done, very lush
By the way, in case anyone missed the obvious, Ian is the guy who supplied the gorgeous sounds for my Tape Pro, Reelbus and TFX Echo videos!
OT...
Ha, Legend!
Getting him to put his name on a new contract was our best signing of the summer for sure.
Very nice. I gaped borderland when it was on sales but i never got in to it. But i really dig blending acoustic and electronic instruments. For granular synth i normally go for Spacecraft because of AUv3.
Very nice to hear what you can do with your harp and borderland. Thanks for posting
Thanks @royor, the harp is fascinating. I also come from a guitar background so I know what you mean. I hope you manage to try one as it brings so many possibilities. If you ever want any recorded bits to play with then I’ll happily send you some stuff that you can do whatever you want with 👍
@RedSkyLullaby, thank you. It was your iDensity video that convinced me to but it, definitely the most musical of the videos I watched.
@Lorichs, thank you. For a while I thought Borderlands was a great app but I kept going back to Spacecraft. Then I started to use less ‘voices’ in each of the clouds, longer ‘duration’ and more pitch shifting and I started getting better results. 6 months ago I’d never heard of granular synthesis, now I love it 👍
