I've been playing with these guys on and off for about 8 years now, COVID aside. The bandleader writes fantastic Americana/Roots Rock tunes, and they have no aspirations beyond jamming, bullshitting and imbibing. It's nice to play in a band that has no expectations from me other than I show up, so the freedom is worth some of the bumbling. A professional outfit they are not, but we have a really good time together.
We cut this over a couple weeks and it was awesome to be in a "real" studio with some pedigree. I have some issues with the mix here, but the performances are all really solid and the tunes are great, so I wanted to make sure this was heard.
