I really like Pure Acid. This was a great jam!
Very sweet sounding sax (?) and great ambience.
Thanks @AlexY. 03.03 is my pure acid stand-alone jam day 😉
Thanks @AlexY , yes it’s GeoTenorSax (I had to check😊)
Oh fuck, I didn't know he is from Ukraine, this war is just heart breaking
@GeoTony I listened to the earlier ones too and they're very enjoyable! I see that the sax has been a recurrent guest.
Also, the jam with the trombone had very strong Vangelis vibes-- Bladerunner Blues specifically.
Still playing around in AUM. I understand now why people love it. I took what I started there and put it in a timeline using Cubasis.
Setup:
Snakebud driving Geoshred. Effects are Nembrini's Minotaur Clon, Analog Rack Guitar Equalizer, Analog Rack Delay, Mrh159.
Aphelian driving Audiokit's Sub Bass 808 with Aurora Sp's Mammoth for an amp.
Hammershark on drums.
I captured all of the controllers' midi on Atom 2, and copied those over to Cubasis to put in a timeline. Kept all the effects the same except I ended up using the AM Rock Kit 1 on Cubasis.
Mastered in Grand Finale (just chose a preset lol)
Thanks @AlexY . AUM is great, the only ‘DAW’ like thing I use. I enjoyed your piece but a little light and shade would have made it better for me 👍
Thanks! You mean like more octave range? Not very familiar with musical terms.
Perhaps just some variation in volume or fading some effects / instruments in / out just to add a bit of variety…
Blimey I write this as if though I know what I’m talking about but in reality I’m still a noob going through a massive learning curve…
Thank you for the feedback! On further listens, I completely agree that it needs variety hehe.
I’m sorry I’ve been away. I haven’t made that much music.
I bought Madrid to inspire me a little more.
I hope you like this quick song and you are all well.
Great to have you back @cokomairena
You stuff allways sound really great.
Seconded!
yum...I dig that bass rhythm
A little jam from last night with Snakebud and Aphelian controlling Geoshred, Audiokit Bass 808, and Bleass Omega. Then Hammerhead all on its own.
Cheers! @AlexY
I have done some things with Drambo 2
I really like to have a sequencer with scenes.
(low volume, drambo defaultds it's master to -6dB)
Always like your sound/songs!
Trying to zone out on this one:
Keeping pace with the 120bpm ambient meditation zone:
Thank you!! Most of the time I just wind it with the iPad speakers so I’m glad you like it!
Woah. I wanted to keep listening!
I will save your channel for listening while working or meditation
I did this tonight. A little funky
Oooh nice funky 70’s vibe with some modern accents. Nice work.
Thanks for the like on the previous vid. I hope to break the 10 minute mark with my next track using this workflow.
Wow folks, way to revive the thread! Cheers!
A new app always brings new music 🤣
haha!
More Drambo
Very nice. Those sounds tend to remind me of the type of music I heard in some old school (90s) anime movie credits. Not sure if that rings the same for anyone else. Very nostalgic for me, hehe.
Great stuff guys! Loving our new capabilities in version 2.0!
I’m glad they fixed Mixbox. I like it!
The scenes are great
I can see it 😅
You always have such great sounds and melody/harmony lines. I'm jelly for sure lol
This is an 80s inspired (I think) melody I had stuck in my head. Not sure if it's original or something I heard before. I always struggle with the rhythm session with bass and drums if it's anything more than basic. Haven't added a bass line yet, and could use some ideas for that and the drums.
