I'd be interested to know if anyone has used this and, if so, does it offer anything that the likes of FAC Transient and Beatformer don't. Thanks. I'd be happy to buy it but not if it's too close to the aforementioned approaches.

So how we looking?
Here is an eq tip for people who like to doctor with their sounds. I guess this a good place for sharing it:
This will make your sounds less harsh and you will be able to turn them much louder on a big sound system.
Put an eq on the drum that can have multiple high Q´s middle bands. Make the slope(Q) very high and boost it by +12 or +24db. Then sweep it across the spectrum until the overtones become very harsh. Leave it at that frequency and adjust the gain from +12/+24 to -12/-24db. Choose the next band and find some other overtones. Do that 2-5 times.
Resample/freeze that drum sound.
Do that for all your sounds.
Now you have sounds that don't peak as much and you will be able to mix louder while sounding less harsh.
Oaksound Soothe can do that automatically but I like to do it manually.
