How do you all get your IOS synths into your computer DAW’s?

Hi all!

FYI, I am using an IPad Pro 12.9” 2017 model ( I got it new in 2018 because I Wanted the headphone jack)

I have been messing with workflow stuff. When I am jamming/writing, I have a Roland tr-8 drum machine, a Deepmind12D, and my ipad all going into an audio mixer that is also an interface (Behringer XR18) , then to powered speakers.

When I record I have been using NS2, Auria Pro or Cubasis 2 to record the iPad synths. Then I bounce the synths to stereo tracks and export them to my Mac mini.

Can I just record from the audio of my iPad through the mixer? Is there any reason I should not?

How do you all record your iOS synths to your desktop daw’s? Inquiring minds want to know.
