Inter app audio drum apps-recording midi into Cubasis 2.

I don’t have any AUV3 drum apps yet.
I’m trying to record I-spark into Cubasis...
I can record midi notes in my Bluetooth midi keyboard...but I can’t get the ISpark sequencer to stop playing patterns while recording inputted notes on keyboard.
1. How to record just keyboard midi notes from ISpark ?
2. How to record sequenced patterns playing in ISpark to Cubasis?
Yes I can record audio into Cubasis from ISpark.
I have AUM...Would that make any difference?
I also have Patterning 1 and DM1....I guess same frustration..
Need to buy an AUV3 drum machine I think.

Drum Computer, EG Pulse, Digistix and Patterning 2 are imho, the best drum apps for iOS. They all have midi out I believe, and all, except for drum computer are sample based, and allow you to load your own samples.
Patterning 2 isn’t AUV3 right?

Thanks for your help....but can’t get it to work...here’s the screenshot of Patterning 1...MIDI display not showing as in version 2..
Can’t trigger sequence from C3 either.....
I can see these two screens....what settings here?
I want to record Patterning from loop sequence into Cubasis 2....
You also need to set the MIDI destination for patterning to on. In the screen shot , your midi out is off for all the notes. So it won't send midi notes out.

The Patterning loops now play back as midi data in Cubasis 2.
Can I trigger Patterning midi notes on my keyboard controller too?
If I recall, Patterning I is MIDI out only for notes. Though I might be misremembering. If you search in the archives or on the patterning forum, you will find a more definitive answer.
