I don' t think the 4+ has reached the market yet...
No such device...
I'm pretty happy with my 2+, but they are blowing it big time with the 4+.
They were just waiting on the cables a month ago, then it was supposedly shipping to retailers any day now, then they said they'd have an announcement about availability last week, etc....
EDIT- they just posted this on FB
" Sorry we are just waiting on a few confirmations. Hopefully will have news tomorrow."
We'll see......
Been waiting for almost a year on this!
Pretty sure I saw advertising back in late 2012...
Certainly on show at Winter NAMM 2013 (well, a 'model' of it anyway - I think they only demoed the ICM2+). It's quite ridiculous how long it's taking them to get this product to market
@Zymos - where is that posting on FB? I don't see it there - just checked.
well it's not as if anyone else is getting a competitive product out before them!

I don't know how to link to it precisely. Go to their page, then over on the right, "recent posts by others", look for the first post, by Brettles Mad, and click "see all".

I'm waiting for one, last thing I heard was that it will ship later this month. Will report back when/if I get it.
I really hope it works better that the ICM2+. the ICM2+ did not work with my and many other tested brand new out of the box Ipad 4.s. Got an error msg - the device is not supported.
Love my ICM2+. I use it to sync my ipad to Push, works flawlessly.
@DJsicksentZ
I have thoroughly tested the device with 4 brand new out of the Box Ipad 4's 64 GB, with new lightning adaptors as well.
The ICM2+ does not work with these Ipad - Error msg - Device not supported. Iconfig app on Ipad does not find the ICM2+. thourougly tested.
there is surely an issue with the hardware or the firmware.
Returned the product, however waiting on ICM4+.
Just received the iConnectMIDI4+ and iConfig app on my 4th iPad says No Devices Found. It happens when I connect my iPad to iConnectMIDI4+ via Apple lightning-to-30pin > iConnect 30pin-to-USB. It happens with all three ports. When I connect my iPad via Apple CKK > iConnect USB-to-USB, the iConfig recognizes the iConnectMIDI4+ and works fine but it doesn't charge the iPad. Anyone with same problems? Or some suggestions?
Have you used the Apple Lightning-to-30pin successfully with anything else, or are you using it for the first time with the iConnect?
(For the record, I connect my 4th-generation iPad to my MacBook Pro via iConnectMIDI4+ using a Lightning-to-30pin adapter like you.)
What adapter are you using? I have the 0,2m version. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD824ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter-02-m
However today I've tested the iConnectMIDI4+ with my friends iPhone4S and iConnect 30pin to USB cable and all works fine. iConfig on the iPhone finds iConnectMIDI4+ and iPhone also charging. So it might be a faulty adapter?
Yeah, I'm using the same adapter as you. My guess would be the same as yours: faulty adapter.
Just checked another 2 apple lightning-to-30pin adapters at store, 1st one just as I have and 2nd without cable. Both non works! Maybe it's because of the iOS? I'm running iOS 6.1.2 at the moment. What iOS you are running, kgmessier?
Hmm, that could be it. I'm running 7.1.2. Have you checked the manufacturer's support site? They may have some useful information. I'd also drop them a support ticket.
Yes, I've talked with a guy from iConnectivity. Not any serious information about my problem at this time. But iConfig app at the App Store have a minimal requirements of iOS 5.0… Maybe it's really the time to update my iPad to iOS7, anyway?
iPad Air 128gb iOS 7.1.2, connected with the 30pin to Lightning original Apple adapter to my iMac 2014 10.9.4 no problems. Working with Cubase 7.5.2, with my UR28M, routing everything like crazy, midi (USB, 5pin) and audio like as I want ;-)
Just updated my 4th gen iPad from iOS 6.1.2 to iOS 7.1.2. And now ALL WORKS!!! iConfig recognizes iConnectMIDI4+ through original iConnect 30pin cable > apple 30pin-to-lightning adapter > iPad. And this thing also charging my iPad. PROBLEM SOLVED. Hope this can also help somebody. It's time for some routing! Thank you all.
