AudioFuse (Rev2) Integrated USB-Hub, any other out there?

Hi all!
I've used a Apogee One and an ipad Pro 10.5" for quite a while.
Since I upgraded to an 2020 ipad pro the Apogee won't work so i'm
looking for a replacement. I've been looking at the Arturia AudioFuse Rev2
which seems quite awesome and i especially like the fact that is has a 3port usb-hub integrated.
I can't recall any other interface that got this, but i hope i'm wrong.
Is there any other out there?

  • Novation HAD one. That’s it though.

  • Isn’t there an Akai one?

  • +1 to this question - especially if anyone knows of something cheaper than the AudioFuse! Every time I search for this I get recommendations for the Novation one, which doesn't exist any more :(

  • The Novation Audiohubs still show up on eBay. I scored one a couple of weeks ago for under $100, and it wasn’t the only one that showed up on the site that week. I highly recommend setting an email alert on a search and waiting for something to appear, if that’s a particularly appealing feature set for you.

  • Not-quite-the-same but ESI M4UeX and the bigger 8 have a 3-port USB3 hub integrated.

  • The iconnectaudio4+ has a USB host port. I've not used one though, so can't comment on how well it does the job.

I think it's worth noting that the Novation Audiohub doesn't have inputs for instrument/mic. If it did I'm pretty sure it would never have gone out of production.

The Akai one is the EIE, not the EIE pro which does not work with iOS. It's a bit of a beast though, you could have a stack of 3 usb hubs with batteries and they'd still be in its shade.

I did the same. It took a few weeks before I got one for decent money but patience will get you there.

You can connect a hub and upto 7 devices to its USB port. Works pretty fantastic since both devices can use the midi controllers. Meaning you can have part of a launch control Xl control one iPad and at the same time have it control another iPad or pc.
